Chinese Pictorial All Silk Handwoven Vintage Rug

Handwoven in China circa 1990, this vintage all-silk pictorial rug depicts a tranquil architectural landscape with a pavilion, bamboo, rockwork, and distant garden structures. Its softly luminous palette of lilac-gray, deep olive, sage, cobalt blue, warm tan, and restrained red is enriched by the natural sheen and finely carved surface of the silk. Measuring 2’0″ x 4’1″, it is especially well suited as a wall hanging or as a decorative accent in a low-traffic interior.
